Bajradhar Shakti (also known as Vajradhara with consort) represents the primordial Buddha in union with Prajnaparamita (the embodiment of wisdom). This form symbolizes the perfect unity of wisdom (female energy) and compassion (male energy) — the two essential aspects for attaining enlightenment.

In handicraft art, Bajradhar Shakti is beautifully depicted in Yab-Yum posture (divine union) — where Vajradhara holds a Vajra (thunderbolt) in his right hand and a Ghanta (bell) in his left. His consort Shakti (Prajnaparamita) embraces him, symbolizing the inseparable bond of method and wisdom.
