Chenrezig (Cherenzi) – The Bodhisattva of Compassion

Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit and affectionately called Cherenzi in the Himalayan region, is the embodiment of infinite compassion in Tibetan Buddhism. He is one of the most widely revered Bodhisattvas, believed to hear the cries of all sentient beings and respond with boundless mercy and assistance.

Our Chenrezig handicrafts are skillfully handcrafted by experienced artisans using traditional methods that honor sacred iconography. The statue typically features four arms, symbolizing his limitless compassion and tireless effort to help others. Two hands are joined in prayer at the heart, holding a wish-fulfilling jewel, while the other two hold a lotus flower and a mala (prayer beads), signifying purity and the continuous recitation of mantras to relieve suffering.
