Guru Rinpoche – The Lotus-Born Master of Vajrayana

Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, is the revered tantric master who introduced Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century. He holds a vajra (dorje) in his right hand, symbolizing indestructible wisdom, and a skull cup in his left, representing the transformation of obstacles. Resting in the crook of his left arm is the khatvanga staff, adorned with symbolic emblems of tantra and realization.
